Three Former Top Prospects With ADPs Above 400 and Impact Potential
All three of these hitters could easily outperform their ADP and finish within the top 200 or even 150 overall players by season's end.
Finding the right undervalued players in fantasy drafts is a crucial part of building a roster with league-winning potential.
Whether it be drafting starting pitchers later in drafts who have higher ADPs due to missing time due to injury in previous seasons or identifying the right top prospects who’ll make an instant impact ahead of time, there are a number of ways to go about it.
One potentially overlooked way is to consider former prospects who’ve already debuted in the Majors and are early in their respective careers, but have yet to establish themselves in the Majors.
With that in mind, these three former top prospects all had limited playing time in the Majors last season. From a surface-level stat standpoint, none of the trio made an instant impact, but all three could bounce back in a significant way this coming season.
Whether you’re in a 12-team league or a deeper league with 16 or more teams, all three are potentially worth a look later in drafts.
They include:
One of the top prospects who was traded this past offseason.
A former elite prospect in the American League East.
And one of the National League’s best position player prospects.
