Five Under-the-Radar 2025 Splits to Keep an Eye on in 2026
Some crucial home/road splits for hitters and pitchers from 2025, and how they might impact your fantasy team's 2026 production.
Oftentimes, a player’s surface-level metrics, whether on the mound or at the plate, don’t tell the whole story.
This is where underlying, and quality of contact, metrics come in to paint a more accurate picture of a player’s effectiveness or impactfulness.
But the splits are sometimes just as crucial.
They can also be crucial in determining whether to draft, trade for or start a player in fantasy leagues.
Case in point, here’s what Mickey Moniak did at home versus on the road last season. You’re probably not starting him when he’s away from Coors Field.
Mickey Moniak 2025 Splits:
Home: 253 plate appearances, 15 home runs, .303 average, .348 OBP, 6.3 BB%, 22.1 K%, .396 wOBA, 130 wRC+, .946 OPS, .295 ISO
Road: 208 plate appearances, nine home runs, .230 average, .255 OBP, 2.9 BB%, 26.0 K%, .289 wOBA, 83 wRC+, .680 OPS, .195 ISO
And while there are plenty of examples of extreme home and road splits involving Rockies players, there are a number of other home/road splits that can be extremely useful in identifying potentially undervalued fantasy players and which players might see their production taper off a bit.

Either way, these are five splits from 2025 to keep an eye on for this season as you not only draft your fantasy teams, but start making trade and early-season lineup decisions.
Also, one other thing, none of the splits involve Rockies hitters or pitchers, so there’s that as well. Just for context’s sake.
