This is the first part of a miniseries designed to help you win your drafts on draft day this spring.

Drafting the right players can go a long way towards fantasy success. In slightly different words, winning your draft can go a long way towards winning your league if you draft the right underrated players.

Whether that means finding potential impact players later in drafts or selecting a player in the third or fourth round who ends up being a top-10 overall fantasy player, finding underrated and undervalued (from an ADP standpoint) players is crucial.

Which is why I’m doing this mini series. Part 1 is… well, you’re reading Part 1 right now. Part 2 will come out later this week, while the remaining parts will come out sometime next week and beyond.

The main goal? To help you win your drafts so you’re set up to win your leagues this fall. Obviously, there’s a lot that goes into winning a league after the draft, but it’s all about finding the right players.

Here are, with it being 2026, the first 26 players on the list. Some are simply underrated in general. Some might be underrated relative to where they might go in drafts. A few you may have seen before in previous columns. They can all help you win your league this year.

They include:

  • Two former Cy Young winners.

  • Four players who signed as free agents this offseason.

  • Six relievers, all with impact upside in saves+holds leagues and standard scoring leagues.

  • Two of the game’s best young prospects.

  • Two impact trade acquisitions from National League teams this winter.

  • One of the league’s most underrated fantasy catchers.

  • Seven outfielders.

  • Four second basemen.

  • A recently traded top prospect.

  • Seven starting pitchers…

  • And two future Hall of Famers.
